Those Who Prioritise Will Get The Best Results

Take a moment to reflect. Over the last week, how much time and effort did you put into thinking and planning what you would eat for the next 1-7 days. If you’re anything like I was and many of the people I know, very little. In fact, we spend more time planning and thinking at our jobs about our upcoming work tasks and to-do list.

I believe a small shift in this area can really pay off. It just takes a few minutes, perhaps in the evening after dinner, where you take stock of what’s left in the fridge and consider what you would like to eat over the next day or so. Once you know this, you just need to check you have all the ingredients and then allocate time to shop for any extra ingredients that are needed.

If you have everything you need at home to cook a wholesome meal, you are more likely to do it. Otherwise we end up leaving this decision until last minute and our hunger pangs get the better of us.
